Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have translators in all fields?
We have translators only life science or bio-medical sciences. We will update here as we get translators in other subjects.
How are your translation services different from traditional translators?
Unlike traditional translation companies, we use translators who are active researchers in your area of study. This ensures that they know the jargon of your field in both English and your native language, guaranteeing the most accurate translation possible. We also include a quality review for every translation by one of our experienced Academic Translation Advisors. We believe this additional step is critical to providing the most accurate translation of your important research. Moreover, our translation service includes English language editing by native speakers in your field, so you can be assured of the quality of the language in your final paper. Finally, our translation service includes unlimited English re-editing, so if you need to make changes to your paper later, we will re-edit it for free.
Do you need the reference list and the research data?
To receive the most accurate translation, please include the reference list for your manuscript. This list helps our translators determine the preferred terms used by the authors whose research is cited in your manuscript.
We do not include references when calculating the word count and price for your order for Portuguese or Spanish Translation because we do not normally translate references for those services. However, we include the references in the word count price for Chinese Translation because we translate references for that service by default. If you do not want your references translated for Chinese Translation, please include instructions indicating that preference.
We also encourage you to provide a glossary of key terms with their preferred translations to English. Our translators consult a large body of literature while completing each translation, and glossaries help them determine the most appropriate terms for your specific manuscript.
How long will it take to have my paper re-edited?
Because a Translation re-edit may involve a variety of steps (e.g., Translation, Editing, and/or Formatting), we cannot provide a specific timetable that applies to all re-edits. Once you submit your paper for re-editing, we will determine what steps are needed and contact you with your actual deadline within two business days.
